Narayana Murthy, co-founder of Infosys, recently gifted his five-month-old grandson, Ekagrah Rohan Murty, 15 lakh shares of Infosys, valued at approximately ₹210 crore. Following the company's announcement of a total dividend of ₹28 per share, including a final dividend of ₹20 and a special dividend of ₹8, Ekagrah stands to earn an additional ₹4.2 crore in dividend income. The dividend payment is scheduled for May 31, with disbursement set for July 1.

Ekagrah Rohan Murty, born on November 10, 2023, in Bengaluru, is the son of Narayana Murthy's son, Rohan Murthy, and daughter-in-law Aparna Krishnan. Rohan Murthy, a PhD holder in computer science from Harvard University, oversees the software firm Soroco, while Aparna Krishnan heads Murty Media. Ekagrah is the third grandchild of Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy, joining siblings Krishna and Anoushka, the daughters of Akshata Murty and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Akshata Murty, Sudha Murthy, and Rohan Murthy hold notable stakes in Infosys, highlighting the family's significant ties to the technology giant.
